About the Band

Sundancer's Union

Vintage Spirit - Modern Groove

Sundancer’s Union is a Central Florida band rooted in the psychedelic spirit, improvisational freedom, and soulful musical traditions of the late 1960s and 1970s. Blending psychedelic rock, electric blues, Americana, southern rock, folk, and extended jam-band exploration, the group creates a live experience built around connection, spontaneity, emotion, and groove.

Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Koko Taylor, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, and Etta James, Sundancer’s Union carries forward the raw honesty and musical freedom of an earlier era while giving it fresh energy for modern audiences.

At the heart of the band is a unique chemistry between three generations of musicians sharing one stage. Soulful vocals, expressive guitar work, deep rhythmic interplay, and open-ended improvisation combine to create performances that feel organic, human, and alive in the moment. No two shows are ever exactly the same.

Whether performing at festivals, campgrounds, breweries, listening rooms, tiki bars, outdoor gatherings, or intimate venues, Sundancer’s Union brings a warm communal energy that invites audiences into the music rather than simply performing at them. Their sound moves naturally from bluesy grooves and psychedelic textures to soulful ballads, Americana storytelling, and extended improvisational journeys.

More than nostalgia, Sundancer’s Union is about carrying forward a spirit — the belief that music can still bring people together, create community, and leave room for genuine expression and exploration.
